Hold on for a sec here gals, cause chelseainbali.com is about to get real hippocritical real quick. My last post was all about how I'm well on the journey towards minimalism out of necessity due to moving across the globe. I go on about how so far in 2018 I've only made 3 purchases which I love and just had to share with you!
Bali and beaches are, however, very much on my mind, and I maaaaaay have made an impulsive purchase reflecting those longing thoughts and dreams. I mean- at least I KNOW I'll use it and it won't take up much space. Right?

I don't know what you think, but I think this is the most adorable swimsuit I've ever seen, and I feel so GOOD in it! Aerie has always been my holy grail for swimwear, and BOY are they killin' it right now. It took everything in me to not buy this suit in every colour. I find they always have the most amazing, cute, current, and gosh darn affordable collections of swimwear. By no means are they sponsoring me (I wish!) but man am I happy to sing my praises from the mountaintops for this company. I also love their marketing and their "real" campain. They use real humans as models and don't retouch their photos!
PS. The headband is also from Aerie, and I am OBSESSED with it. It's great for hot weather, especially in the humidity of Bali to just get the hair out of your face, but I've worn it every day here in Canada since I purchased it. And how cute is it with the bathing suit?! (Yes, ok, that's the LAST thing I purchased this year, OK, guys? I'm really trying over here but Aerie makes it so hard!)
I'll also note that this suit is new, however all my fave suits over the past uh, 8 years, have been from Aerie. They hold up super well over time- making them excellent companions for travel!
